This position is centered on day-to-day park maintenance and has opportunities to be exposed to other facets of the park including visitor education, resource management, visitor services, and other projects. Visitor services work may include working ranger station shifts to assist incoming day use and camping visitors. This is an excellent opportunity for a self-motivated, hard-working individual to fill an OPS Park Attendant position at Olustee Historic Battlefield State Park. This position is a part-time, temporary position working up to 29hrs per week. The selected candidates will be required to work rotating shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays. There will also be opportunities for various trainings. Due to ongoing construction of the new museum and visitor center at Olustee Historic Battlefield, these OPS Park Attendant positions will be primarily working out of Stephen Foster Folk Culture Center State Park until the project is completed. Performs related duties as required.
