About The Position

The Clinical and Translational Science Institute (CTSI) is hiring part-time OPS Motor Vehicle Operators to augment its Clinical Research Vehicle (CRV) driver pool and support community events, including events held on weekends and holidays. The positions are expected to average 10 hours per week. Operators transport the CRV safely and courteously, drive it to and from assigned event or clinic sites, park and set it up, and assist with on-site preparation. They also help coordinate driver schedules and maintain the vehicle in proper working order through inspections, refueling, reporting maintenance issues, and preparing it for return to its permanent storage location. Operators must observe Florida traffic laws and patient confidentiality requirements. This is a time-limited position.

Requirements

Valid Florida commercial driver's license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
Open availability to work weekends as needed.
Ability to lift and move equipment for event setup.

Nice To Haves

Class B license.

Responsibilities

Safely transport the Clinical Research Vehicle (CRV) in a courteous and reliable manner.
Observe Florida State traffic laws.
Drive the CRV to and from assigned event or clinic sites.
Park and set up the vehicle at the designated location.
Assist with on-site preparation of the CRV before clinic or promotional events.
Observe patient confidentiality laws and regulations.
Coordinate driver schedules.
Inspect the CRV before departure and upon return to its storage location.
Keep the CRV fueled.
Identify and report maintenance issues.
Prepare the CRV for return to its permanent storage location.
Lift and move equipment for event setup.
