The position requires the ability to conduct complex investigations, collect evidence, review medical and legal records, and utilize covert investigative techniques. The investigator will also prepare and serve citations and cease and desist agreements, coordinate with legal counsel and law enforcement, and testify in administrative hearings or trials. Additionally, the role involves developing professional contacts within the healthcare community, assisting in allied health investigations, and engaging with the public to promote the department's goals.
