The Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC) Office of Inspector General (OIG) is seeking an OPS Internal Auditor II. This role is responsible for coordinating and conducting audits and review activities that evaluate the effectiveness of the Agency’s programs, systems, operations, and policies. The work is carried out in accordance with professional auditing standards, including Generally Accepted Government Auditing Standards (GAGAS) and the Association of Inspectors General’s Principles and Standards. The FWC envisions a Florida where fish and wildlife are abundant and thriving in healthy and connected natural landscapes with vital working lands and waterways; where natural resources are valued and safely enjoyed by all; and wherein natural systems support vibrant human communities and a strong economy. The FWC's mission is managing fish and wildlife resources for their long-term well-being and the benefit of people. The OIG coordinates activities that promote accountability, integrity, and efficiency in government, conducting performance and compliance audits and investigating fraud, waste, abuse, mismanagement, and misconduct allegations.
