About The Position

Reviews and completes the Department of Juvenile Justice's Central Communications Center incidents within the Office of Prevention Services, responsible for reviewing all CCC incidents assigned to Prevention and update from contract providers, determine if an administrative program review is required. Reviews provider deficiencies in PMM (Program Monitoring and Management) and make recommendations based on policies and procedures. Assists in resolving deficiencies placed in PMM (Program Monitoring and Management). Communicates effectively with providers external to the Program, maintaining a positive and collaborative working relationship with the Office of Inspector General. Provides technical assistance as the Office of Prevention Services liaison between the Department and providers. Provides technical assistance, training, consultative services and direction for development, implementation, evaluation and expansion of programs of service in public agencies and local governments. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Knowledge of the methods of data collection and analysis.
  • Ability to collect, evaluate, and analyze data to develop alternative recommendations, solve problems, document work flow and other activities relating to the improvement of operational and management practices.

  • Valid driver's license is required. If initially hired with an out-of-state license, the Florida resident must obtain a valid Florida state driver's license within 30 days of hire. Licenses suspended or revoked for any reason, work permits (Business purpose/Employment/Education only licenses) and some types of restricted licenses are not acceptable. Licenses that have Corrective Lenses Restriction are acceptable, provided the driver wears corrective lenses while operating the vehicle.
