About The Position

This is an opportunistic role at Nearwater Capital, a specialty finance firm. It's an opportunity to get on their radar for future openings if none of the current positions are a perfect fit. Roles can span finance, operations, risk, legal, and technology. Across all roles, you will work closely with a small, senior team, take on ownership early, and help build processes as much as execute them.

Requirements

• Direct experience in specialty finance, private credit, asset management, or closely adjacent fields.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Comfortable operating with a high degree of independence.
• A self-starter who looks for ways to reduce manual work.
• Hands-on and willing to roll up your sleeves, regardless of seniority.
• Well organized and able to manage ambiguity.
