About The Position

Easterseals PORT Health is seeking a compassionate, caring, and dedicated Opioid Treatment Program Therapist to join their collaborative, multidisciplinary team in New Bern, NC. This role involves providing specialized counseling, assessment, and care coordination for patients with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) within a clinic setting. Key duties include developing individualized treatment plans, conducting individual/group therapy, monitoring progress, and coordinating care with medical staff to support recovery. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Fully or provisionally licensed in appropriate discipline—either LCMHC, LCSW or LCAS.
  • Documented experience with the population to be served.
  • Proficiency with EHR systems or technically savvy.
  • Maintain valid state appropriate driver’s license and auto insurance for personal and agency vehicles utilized for work.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in Substance Abuse services preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide specialized counseling, assessment, and care coordination for patients with Opioid Use Disorder (OUD) within a clinic setting.
