About The Position

VCA Family and Oahu Veterinary Specialty Center is seeking a Veterinary Technician to join their growing Ophthalmology Service. This role involves providing care to patients in conjunction with an Ophthalmologist, mirroring the services and medical equipment found at a human medical center. The focus is on improving patient quality of life through effective treatment and support.

Requirements

Registered Veterinary Technician (RVT, CVT, LVT)
Experience with monitoring anesthesia
Passion for client communication and education

Responsibilities

Providing care to patients in conjunction with our Ophthalmologist
Exam rooms
Diagnostics
Prescription management
Client education
Anesthetic/surgical procedures
Safe patient handling
Other duties as assigned
