About The Position

Burlington Emergency & Veterinary Specialists is looking to add a full or part-time veterinary assistant to our Ophthalmology department. The Ophthalmology team at BEVS is a close-knit group of quality-focused veterinary professionals. The ideal candidate is someone who is upbeat, enjoys detail oriented tasks, and strives to create a sterile field and optimal environment for topnotch surgical care. This person needs to be able to handle tasks independently while also working closely as a team with the veterinarians and technicians. Main job duties will include sterile park and prep of surgical instruments, surgical prep, setup, and cleanup, assisting with daily appointment flow and patient handling, and fielding client communications.
