Requirements

Associates Degree OR equivalent training acquired via work experience or education
Ophthalmic Technician Program
Less than one year of previous job-related experience
Demonstrated knowledge and hands-on experience in manual refraction and applanation tonometry to support comprehensive ophthalmic care.

Nice To Haves

At least one (1) year of previous job-related experience, highly preferred.
After graduation from an ophthalmic technician education course, staff in the Ophthalmic Assistant position are required to become certified ophthalmic assistants within the first year of employment.
