About The Position

Eye Associates of South Texas, a partner of NVISION Eye Centers, is a well-established and high-volume ophthalmology group serving the San Antonio community through multiple clinic locations. The practice provides comprehensive medical and surgical eye care with a strong emphasis on cataract surgery and access to care for a broad patient population. This role offers an incoming surgeon the opportunity to step directly into an established patient base with immediate surgical demand and long-term growth potential. Requirements

Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Ophthalmologist (MD / DO)
Interest in high-volume cataract surgery
Open to experienced surgeons or fellowship-trained candidates
Comfortable working independently across multiple clinic locations
Team-oriented, patient-focused, and adaptable practice style

Responsibilities

Immediate access to an established and growing cataract patient base
High-volume cataract surgery opportunity with realistic Year One volume of 450–500 cases
Alignment with a modern, state-of-the-art ambulatory surgery center in San Antonio
Ability to practice independently across multiple clinic locations with scheduling flexibility
ASC equity and partnership options available for the right candidate
Supportive leadership and experienced operational team
Stable, high-producing practice with strong referral relationships
