About The Position

Geisinger is seeking a BC/BE Ophthalmologist - Retina Specialist to join a collegial and well-established practice. The successful candidate will join our retina specialist at Geisinger Centerpoint in Pittston, Pennsylvania, and will acquire an existing robust practice. This is a fantastic opportunity for new graduates or experienced Ophthalmologists. The position offers access to advanced imaging technology, a brand new facility with an attached ASC, and support from a nearby Geisinger hospital for complex cases. Minimal travel to other facilities is required, and call is divided among retina specialists. Geisinger is a physician-led system offering comprehensive patient care to a large rural and urban population in central and northeast Pennsylvania, and is the region’s largest healthcare employer.

Requirements

• BC/BE Ophthalmologist - Retina Specialist
• Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
• Licensed Medical Doctor - State of Pennsylvania
• Patient Care And Procedural Skills
• Professional Etiquette
• Systems-Based Practice
