About The Position
Southern California Permanente Medical Group (SCPMG) is a physician-led partnership that supports patient-centered, evidence-based medicine. It provides physicians with resources and support so they can focus on practicing medicine, collaborating with colleagues, and caring for patients. This per-diem Medical Retina ophthalmologist position is based in Riverside. Applicants must be board certified or board eligible. Riverside County includes the Inland Empire and the greater Palm Springs/Coachella resort area. Physicians in Riverside have opportunities to work in urban or rural locations, at the main medical center or satellite offices, and in settings ranging from the San Bernardino mountains to the desert. The area emphasizes collegiality, work-life balance, flexibility, and respect from patients. External hires must pass a background check and drug screen.
