About The Position
Provide technical support to Ophthalmologist/Optometrist. Patient-care duties may include obtaining and recording of medical histories and patient ocular history, as well as performing patient specific ophthalmic testing/exams and administering eye drops prior to the patient seeing the provider.
Requirements
- High School diploma or GED
- Demonstrate basic computer skills
- Able to promote a strong commitment towards achieving outstanding internal and external customer satisfaction and superior patient experience
- Must be able to understand directions (written and verbal), communicate and respond to inquiries; requires effective interpersonal skills
- Must be able to demonstrate good judgment in a fast-paced environment
Nice To Haves
- Working knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Previous Ophthalmic tech experience
- BLS/CPR
