A caregiver in this position works days from 7:30am to 4:00pm.

Requirements

High School Diploma/GED
One year of experience in an Ophthalmic setting providing direct patient care OR formal education or training in Ophthalmology
Knowledge of medical terminology

Nice To Haves

Prior experience in OCT, Visual Field Testing and Contact Lens I&R

Responsibilities

Under the direction of supervisor or physician, receive and prepare patients for examination or treatment.
May perform routine screening tests.
Document patient information in the patient medical record.
Perform stocking, maintenance and other duties as assigned, including maintaining exam rooms, equipment and supplies.
