Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Ophthalmic Technician Certification required
Responsibilities
- Perform eye exams including visual field, ocular motility, color vision, tonometry, and pupil assessment
- Assist with intraocular pressure and pharmacological testing
- Manage patient flow and collect medical history
- Coordinate imaging and diagnostic testing
- Educate patients and respond to clinical questions
- Maintain and calibrate ophthalmic equipment (slit lamp, keratometer, etc.)
- Prepare and sterilize instruments
- Assist in minor procedures and surgeries
- Ensure a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment
- Support ophthalmology clinic operations in a fast-paced setting
