Technician [Stockton]
About The Position
Florida Eye Specialists is seeking dedicated Ophthalmic Technicians for their rapidly growing practice. Technicians will perform advanced technical ophthalmic procedures, measurements, and tests to provide physician data and assist in patient care. No experience is necessary, as the practice is willing to train the right person. Florida Eye Specialists is a top provider in eye care for the greater Jacksonville area and is the preferred provider for the Jacksonville Jaguars. The physicians and staff are united by a common passion for excellence in eye care, with doctors who have dedicated numerous years to medical school, residency, fellowship, and post-fellowship training in eye-disease research and education. Due to the nature of the business, this position will be required to travel to multiple locations, based on clinic needs.
Requirements
- Basic understanding of Medical Terminology (preferably ophthalmology)
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to interact with patients and employees in a courteous, professional manner at all times
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to multi-task and function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent
Nice To Haves
- Minimum of one year of experience in similar role preferred
- COA or COT certification is preferred
