About The Position
Center For Sight, the platform practice of US Eye, is hiring an ophthalmic technician for its Port Charlotte, Florida location. The role is designed for people interested in starting or growing a medical career, including those without prior medical-field experience. The company provides intensive classroom and hands-on training to prepare new team members to perform diagnostic testing and examinations alongside ophthalmic surgeons and optometrists. The information gathered supports doctors in providing medical and surgical treatment to patients. Training also offers a path toward advanced, internationally recognized certification. The position is in a professional, team-oriented surgical practice focused on patient care.
Requirements
- Experience in a professional environment with a strong customer service focus.
- High school diploma or equivalent education.
- Ability to learn and apply complex concepts to daily work.
