Requirements

- Proven experience as an Ophthalmic Technician.
- Knowledge of medical office procedures.
- Ability to perform indirect activities, administrative tasks and any other assigned duties that contribute to the efficient & high-quality performance of the medical practice.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
Nice To Haves
- Tech and Scribe experience preferred.
- Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) Certification.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with our ophthalmologists to gather comprehensive patient information, ensuring accurate diagnoses and personalized treatment plans.
- Conduct thorough preliminary examinations, including visual acuity, pupillary responses, and more.
- Administer a range of diagnostic tests, such as OCT, perimetry, and ophthalmic photography.
- Support ophthalmologists during minor surgeries, laser procedures, and crosslinking.
- Efficiently manage patient flow in clinic and imaging rooms, collaborating with clinical staff.
- Administer eye drops (Certification Required).
- Perform clinical and administrative tasks, ensuring a smooth and organized workflow.
