Ophthalmic Technician I | Float Position
About The Position
Emplify Health is seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Float Ophthalmic Technician I to assist optometrists in providing high-quality patient care, performing diagnostic tests, and supporting smooth clinic workflows. This is a float position requiring travel among clinic locations in Viroqua, La Crosse, Onalaska, Tomah, Waukon, Decorah, Prairie du Chien, Black River Falls, Whitehall, Winona, Wabasha, Sparta, Hillsboro, and Friendship. The role is scheduled for 36 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with day hours ranging from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. No weekends or holidays are required. The technician will provide a quality optical experience to patients and guests.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- Two years of work experience in optical, patient, or customer service.
- Obtain Certified Ophthalmic Assistant (COA) certification from JCAHPO within 18 months of hire.
Responsibilities
