About The Position

Work Schedule : Part-time, 32 hours per week day shift. Monday – Friday between the hours of 7:30am – 5:30pm, no weekends required. You will work at 2880 University Avenue and will be required to provide coverage as needed at 2349 Deming Way, 1 S Park Street and 5249 E Terrace Dr. in Madison, WI. Hours may vary based on the operational needs of the department. Pay: External hires may be eligible for up to a $3,150 sign-on bonus. We are currently seeking an Ophthalmic Assistant (Optometric Tech, COA, CPOT) to: Perform visual testing in both preventative and specialty eye care. Requirements

• 6 months of customer service experience Required
• CPR certification within 90 Days Required

Nice To Haves

• Completed an accredited Ophthalmic/Optometric program, Certified Medical Assistant program, or Licensed Practical Nurse program Preferred
• 1 year of experience as a Certified Ophthalmic/Optometric Assistant or Tech, Certified Medical Assistant, or Licensed Practical Nurse Preferred
• If LPN, licensed in the state employed Preferred
• If MA, Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) Preferred
