Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required
Experience within a professional environment with a strong customer service focus
Self-starter with a demonstrated ability to learn and apply complex concepts to their daily work

Nice To Haves

Previous experience within the medical field
Experience in optometry or ophthalmology

Responsibilities

Assist and provide patients with excellent customer service and any necessary information regarding treatment
Conduct tonometry tests to measure intraocular pressure
Measure visual acuity
Take and document patients' medical histories
Administer topical ophthalmic or oral medications
Conduct visual field tests to measure field of vision
Instruct patients in the care and use of contact lenses
