Under the direct supervision of the Director of Clinical Operations, Clinical Manager and Service lead technicians, this role assists in the processing of patients by performing ophthalmic technical support services, and maintains exam rooms, equipment, and supplies. The Ophthalmic Assistant Certified is responsible for conducting technical and administrative patient support activities that assist the professional staff (Ophthalmologist, Orthoptist, Residents, etc.) in administering the healthcare and support needed for patients and families in the outpatient ophthalmic clinic.
