Requirements

• At least 1 year experience working in an Ophthalmologist / Optometrist setting
• Completion of AAO home study course

Nice To Haves

• Graduate of 2 year ophthalmic technology training program
• Accreditation by Joint Commission of Allied Health Personnel in Ophthalmology
• 18 hours of continuing education credits approved by JCAHPO every 3 years
