About The Position

The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of manual tasks to support the overall operations of our organization. This role involves physical work, adaptability to different tasks, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.

Requirements

• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor tasks in various weather conditions.
• Previous experience in a labor-intensive role is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Basic knowledge of occupational safety practices.
• Ability to follow instructions and work well within a team.
• Flexibility to adapt to different tasks and responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Engage in various physical tasks such as loading and unloading materials, digging, lifting, and carrying items as required.
• Knowledge of controls of Dry Plant, Wet Plant and Loadout
• Responsible for upkeep of machines and equipment, as well as follow safe work practices. Should have an understanding of all locations of the plant and a basic knowledge of preventive maintenance.
• Ability to train lower-level operators with the ability to identify problems during production and correct the issue with the approval of the lead and/or plant manager.
• Operate basic tools and equipment, such as shovels, wheelbarrows, and power tools, as required for specific tasks as well as skid steer, manlift, telehandler and track hoe.
• Work closely with team members to complete projects efficiently and meet deadlines. Ability to fill in other positions as needed.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and regulations, wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and have the ability to identify safety concerns and propose corrective actions.
• Maintain effective communication with supervisors and team members to ensure a smooth workflow and address any issues that may arise.
