About The Position

This role operates a production line and oversees the production and packaging of confectionary products. The 2nd shift will work Monday-Friday. Monday-Thursday hours are 4:15 pm- 3:00 am with Friday hours varying from 6 to 10-hour shifts. Saturday hours may be scheduled due to business needs. Team Members will be notified by plant management if schedules were to change outside of the times listed above.

Requirements

Ability to verbally communicate proficiently in English to effectively engage with internal teams. Applicant must be proficient in reading and understanding English-language manuals, equipment, instructions, and other documents relevant to the role.
Prior experience operating machines in a manufacturing setting
Basic math skills (addition, subtraction and simple multiplication and division)

Nice To Haves

SAP or equivalent experience
High school diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

Ensure Team Members produce and package high-quality products safely, efficiently, and in compliance with company standards and specifications.
Package products and perform routine quality, weight, percentage, and equipment checks to ensure product accuracy and safety.
Maintain a clean, sanitary, and organized work environment, including proper allergen and product changeover procedures.
Prepare supplies, products, and equipment for production while ensuring equipment meets health and safety requirements.
Perform basic equipment cleaning, minor maintenance, and routine inspections of metal detectors and other production equipment.
Maintain accurate inventory counts, lot numbers, date codes, and production records.
Assist with production line operations and train Team Members as needed.
Utilize REDZONE production software and support established OEE standards.
Communicate and collaborate effectively with Team Members across all departments and levels.
Maintain professional conduct, regular and reliable attendance, and work overtime as needed to support production demands.
Regular and reliable attendance is required.
