About The Position

The Operator supports the production unit in achieving production targets by following established systems and processes. The role is performed onsite and involves using machinery and equipment on the shop floor, reading and interpreting technical diagrams and instructions for assembling products, systems, or panels, and carrying out assembly and quality-testing tasks.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must already have work authorization that permits employment with ABB in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Assemble semi-finished or final products, systems, or panels, including packing when integrated with production lines.
• Perform work manually or with light hand tools.
• Conduct regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
• Follow standard operating procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Use shop-floor machinery and equipment.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams and assembly instructions.
