About The Position

The Operator supports the production unit in achieving production targets by following established systems and processes. The role uses machinery and equipment on the shop floor and requires reading and interpreting technical diagrams and instructions for assembling products, systems, or panels. The position is onsite and reports to the Production Supervisor.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Must already have work authorization permitting employment with ABB in the United States.

Responsibilities

• Conduct assembly work to produce semi-finished or final products, systems, or panels, including packing when integrated with production lines.
• Perform work manually or using light hand tools.
• Carry out regular quality testing as part of a defined production process.
• Follow standard operating procedures and maintain a clean work area.
• Use machinery and equipment on the shop floor.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams and assembly instructions.
