Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operation of the meat room
- Train staff on proper meat room workflow and sanitation procedures
- Enter batch information into Plex Software and manage inventory on a daily basis to ensure product is in stock and accurately counted
- Mix ingredients together and grind blocks of meat into meat grinder
- Add oils as needed per customer specifications
- Unload frozen meat pallets into freezer for storage using forklift
- Clean meat room equipment at throughout the day and at the end of runs to ensure sanitation of equipment is up to standards
- Work with a team to ensure product is safely processed in a timely manner
- Operating and monitoring manufacturing equipment
- Ensuring products meet quality standards
- Troubleshooting any issues that arise during production
- Accurately following recipes and protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety regulations
- Collaborating closely with your team
- Participate in problem-solving initiatives to enhance operational efficiency
