About The Position

The Engraver sets up and operates equipment for customer sales and production work orders, producing precision laser-marked buttons and bezels in varied sizes and colors using handheld fixtures. The role includes handling materials for custom orders and maintaining an orderly work area, acceptable productivity, and consistent quality. The Operator works in a high-energy, highly repetitive production environment and is expected to report quality or workmanship concerns to a lead supervisor or manager. The work includes inspecting materials and verifying color and quantity before production runs, assembling small buttons, packaging, and processing small and large custom sales and production orders. The position is performed in a high-tech manufacturing facility and involves prolonged sitting and twisting, as well as lifting and maneuvering materials.

Requirements

Ability to distinguish subtle differences in color.
Ability to work overtime when warranted.
Organized and detail-oriented.
Basic PC skills.
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Must be able to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate equipment to produce precision laser-marked buttons and bezels for customer sales and production work orders.
Handle materials according to custom order requirements.
Verify that multiple work orders are ready for smooth transitions.
Inspect materials before production runs, including checking color and quantity.
Perform quality inspection, small button assembly, packaging, and processing of custom sales and production orders.
Maintain a neat work area, acceptable productivity, and consistent quality.
Report quality or workmanship concerns to a lead supervisor or manager.
Perform other duties as required.
