The Van Drunen Family of Companies is growing! This is a full-time overnight role with a schedule of Monday through Friday, 10:30 p.m. to 7:00 a.m., with some Saturdays as needed. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • At least six months of production experience or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • Basic reading, writing, and math skills, with the ability to accurately track counts, weights, and inventory.
  • Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow standard operating procedures, quality standards, and safety guidelines.
  • Ability to work independently or as part of a team with a positive and accountable approach.

Nice To Haves

  • Forklift experience preferred.
  • Basic computer or ERP system familiarity is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Operate and monitor production equipment across processes such as drying, freezing, grinding, sifting, and packaging while maintaining safety and efficiency.
  • Set up, assemble, disassemble, clean, and sanitize equipment and work areas between production runs.
  • Load, unload, transfer, and transport materials and finished products throughout the production process.
  • Perform quality checks, including Critical Control Point (CCP) verifications, and identify and escalate product or process issues.
  • Follow all safety protocols, including PPE and Lock Out/Tag Out (LOTO) procedures, and participate in safety meetings and training.
  • Support team operations by communicating effectively, assisting with training, and preparing for upcoming production needs.
