About The Position

As a key member of the Molding department, you will operate and support assembly equipment to ensure efficient, high-quality production. You’ll be responsible for setting up machines, verifying materials, and maintaining optimal process performance in accordance with established procedures and standards. You’ll be part of a collaborative, hands-on manufacturing team focused on delivering high-quality products through precision, consistency, and continuous improvement. The Molding team is made up of skilled operators, technicians, and engineers who work closely together to maintain equipment performance, solve problems quickly, and ensure production targets are met.

Requirements

  • High school diploma required.
  • Mechanical proficiency required.
  • Capability to comprehend and interpret computer control documents and specifications.
  • Computer proficient and ability to use software applications.
  • Ability to read and understand specifications and procedures.
  • Able to complete documentation legibly.
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment.
  • Low absenteeism.
  • Must be able to work overtime as required.
  • Meet visual acuity requirements as documented in the Baxter Cleveland Visual Acuity procedure CL-01-01-037.
  • Audiometric testing and hearing protection required.
  • Ability to bend, stoop and climb ladders.
  • Stand for long periods of time.
  • Ability to maneuver up to 100 pounds.
  • Lift, push, and pull up to 50 pounds repetitively.

Nice To Haves

  • Additional technical experience, training, or education a plus.
  • Basic knowledge of quality and safety procedures and regulations a plus.
  • Familiarity with Allen Bradley controls a plus.
  • Trained as forklift driver preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Operate assembly equipment in Molding department.
  • Set-up machine parameters per operating procedures.
  • Perform line clearance, quality checks and required mechanical adjustments to machine.
  • Responsible for raw materials, printing and packaging materials are ready for production.
  • Challenge vision system, USON Tester, Welders, and Silicon system per operating procedures.
  • Use blueprints, specifications, Bill of Materials, and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure product or process acceptability.
  • Report abnormalities and corrective action to supervision.
  • Stack-off master cartons and move finished goods with forklift.
  • Troubleshoot equipment and make required adjustments/minor equipment repairs as needed.
  • Follow Good Documentation Practices.
  • Perform light maintenance duties related to Total Productive Maintenance (TPM).
  • Perform routine equipment Preventative Maintenance (PMs).
  • Participate in and complete all required training.
  • Participate in the training of new personnel.
  • Participate in continuous improvement efforts and Lean exercises.
  • Maintain good housekeeping in the working area and lead 6S responsibilities as assigned.
  • Perform all other duties and responsibilities as determined by supervision/management.
