About The Position
US Conec is seeking a hands-on Molding Lead to oversee injection molding operations on our 3rd shift team. In this leadership role, you’ll guide a team of Molding Technicians to meet production goals, ensure quality standards, and drive continuous improvement across the department. You’ll play a key role in coordinating schedules, troubleshooting equipment, and motivating your team in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
- 1–2 years of experience in a manufacturing or molding leadership role
- Forklift certification required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and related applications
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to interpret varied instructions
- Ability to read and understand safety rules, maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
- Effective communication skills for leading teams and presenting information
Responsibilities
- Requisition materials required to meet production goals
- Examine molded products to ensure they meet specifications
- Review production schedules and estimate labor requirements
- Interpret company policies and enforce safety regulations
- Communicate specifications, blueprints, and job orders to team members
- Establish or adjust work procedures to meet production timelines
- Recommend improvements to production methods, equipment performance, and product quality
- Suggest changes to working conditions and equipment usage to increase efficiency
- Analyze and resolve work-related issues or assist team members in problem-solving
- Motivate team members to achieve production and quality goals
- Maintain accurate time and production records
- Coordinate activities with other supervisors and departments
- Set up machines and equipment as needed
- Perform duties alongside team members when required
