Requirements

• High School Grad or GED Equivalent.
• Safety-First Mindset.
• Willingness to attend and pass various training courses, including OSHA, HazMat, and FRA-related courses.
• Team Player: ability to communicate and follow directions closely.
• No prior rail industry experience required; on-the-job training provided.
• Flexible Schedule: readiness for a rotating shift schedule, including holidays and weekends.
• Must clear customer's background and drug screen requirements.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Basic hand tool skills.

Responsibilities

• Load railcars safely and efficiently.
• Ensure smooth railcar movements at the Lima operation.
• Operate loading equipment.
• Record activities in the computer system.
• Thoroughly inspect railcars before loading.
• Take accurate samples of products, labeling and organizing them.
• Perform pre-shift maintenance walk-downs of the entire loading system.
• Operate a locomotive (with training and certification).
• Perform switchman duties (with training and certification).
