About The Position

Tests and inspects aggregates product before, during, and after production, using a variety of testing devices and procedures to maintain product quality.

Requirements

High School Diploma with Higher-Level training preferred
Superior oral and written communication skills
Computer experience required
Ability to pass TxDOT and ACI tests and understand technology
Ability to understand basic statistics and mathematics
Ability to work strenuously for at least a 12-hour shift
Must be able to perform all job functions which include, but may not be limited to walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, turning, climbing to a significant degree, and/or pulling of controls
Heavy Work: Exerting up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds or force frequently, and/or up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear, in order to communicate to employees/visitors as well as function safely around heavy rolling equipment
Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling, and climbing to a significant degree
Must pass physical to include hearing test and drug/alcohol screen

Responsibilities

Follow the instruction of the QC Lead and QC Director
Collect, weigh, test, and record samples of aggregates using various equipment and devices
Perform work according to specification sheets and forward to supervisors as needed
Maintain excellent communications with the QC and Operations Teams regarding product quality and standards.
Meet or exceed company safety standards
Perform other job responsibilities as assigned
