About The Position

Mylan Technologies, Inc. (Viatris) is hiring an Operator to support packaging and manufacturing operations. The role involves inspecting products and equipment, assisting with production equipment setup and operation, maintaining clean work areas and equipment, labeling and storing products, and documenting production activities. The Operator may also help train new personnel, perform calibrations, and coordinate other Operators’ work as directed by a supervisor or manager. A high school diploma and at least two years of experience are required, though a combination of experience and education will be considered. The salary range is $58,240.00–$67,000.00 USD, with eligibility for a 20% shift differential for working 5th Shift.

Responsibilities

Visually inspect products during operation, observe equipment and processes for proper operation, seek maintenance assistance when problems arise, and recommend improvements.
Assist with setting up and operating production equipment.
Prepare and clean manufacturing rooms and equipment for inspection as required, and keep the work area clean and orderly.
Ensure products are properly labeled and stored.
Document material runs using Batch Production Records, In-Process Sheets, Log Books, and Time Sheets.
Assist in training new personnel in manufacturing operations as directed by a supervisor or manager.
Perform calibration of scales, line meters, coating ovens, micrometers, and other equipment as instructed.
Coordinate the work of other Operators and act as a backup to the Senior Operator as directed by a supervisor or manager.
