About The Position

This is an opportunity level position with great room for growth. The Operator - Level 1 is responsible for setting up and running print or print finishing equipment. They will read Work Orders and perform assigned tasks, which may include unpacking, catching, bagging, and shrink wrapping to produce sub-assemblies or finished products. The role also involves attaching appropriate labels and tags, packing finished goods, logging production, and notifying supervisors of any issues. Maintaining a clean and safe work area, quality, and a positive attitude are essential.

Requirements

Good mechanical ability, including math and measurement skills

Experience with digital print, print finishing, or extrusion

Responsibilities

Setup and run print or print finishing equipment.
Reads Work Orders and performs work as assigned by department supervisor.
As necessary, unpacks, catches, bags, shrink wraps, to produce sub-assemblies or finished product.
Attach appropriate labels and tags to products and packages.
Pack finished goods into correct packages and boxes.
Log production in schedule boards.
Notify supervisor of any mechanical or material issues.
Place finished goods on the designated pallet.
Maintain a clean and safe work area.
Maintain quality and a great attitude.
