About The Position

As an Operator 1, you play a big part of the team in providing labor, parts, service, and goods to other team members and departments, which is key and very important in the remanufacturing process of transmissions. Your day will be spent performing a wide variety of warehouse tasks, along with specific tasks as assigned by manager or supervisor, being helpful, organized, maintaining safety and accuracy, and fulfilling requests to ensure daily demands are met and processes run smoothly within the department. Requirements

  • Ability to properly take and read various gages and dimensions
  • Ability to follow oral and written instructions
  • Computer efficiency
  • Must be 18 years old
  • Detail oriented
  • Ability to bend, twist, pull & push
  • Willingness to get dirty at times
  • Willingness to work with chemicals
  • Skill of working with your hands, multiple types of tools, fixtures, gages and other instruments
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand & work on your feet for 8+ hours a day
  • Ability to work under pressure at times

Nice To Haves

  • Past machine shop experience preferred
  • Past automotive parts experience preferred
