About The Position
Weaver Popcorn Company is seeking dedicated and reliable Machine Operator to join our team. This position involves working in a team environment while ensuring adherence to safety standards, environmental policies, and housekeeping procedures.
Requirements
- High school/GED required
- Willingness to learn and take on new tasks.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality.
- Ability to lift and stand for long periods.
- Must be willing to work safely at heights up to 120 feet.
Nice To Haves
- Previous forklift experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Follow all company policies and procedures, including safety, environmental, and housekeeping guidelines.
- Collaborate with team members and follow the direction of the team leader.
- Operate forklift to load and unload trailers, as well as assist with managing the logistical flow within the warehouse
- Learn to operate bagger/tote bagger machinery and assist in corn processing.
- Provide support to outside operations as needed.
- Perform weekly sanitation tasks.
- Operate Inventory Management systems as required.
- General maintenance skills required
- General Grain Elevator work
