About The Position

Piramal Pharma Solutions is a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO) offering end-to-end development and manufacturing solutions across the drug life cycle. They serve clients through a globally integrated network of facilities in North America, Europe, and Asia, providing services such as Drug Discovery Solutions, Process & Pharmaceutical Development, Clinical Trial Supplies, Commercial supply of APIs and Finished dosage forms, and specialized services like development and manufacture of Highly Potent APIs and Antibody Drug Conjugation. This role is for a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing Operator within pharmaceutical operations (manufacturing and packaging) across both first and second shifts. The operator will be responsible for entry-level operations including equipment and facility cleaning, scale verifications, and general housekeeping. Progression includes opportunities to disassemble and reassemble departmental equipment in accordance with cGMPs and SOPs. The operator will rotate to other Manufacturing or Packaging departments as needed.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and occasionally move drums weighing up to 300 lbs
  • Not allergic to chemicals or biosubstances found in laboratory or production facilities
  • Able to work safely with heavy equipment
  • Regularly stand, walk, sit, use hands to finger, feel objects, tools, controls, reach with hand and arms, talk, hear, and good vision

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in a GMP and/or DEA facility is a plus

Responsibilities

  • Entry level operations including equipment and facility cleaning
  • Scale verifications
  • General housekeeping as assigned by the Supervisor or Group Leader
  • Disassemble and reassemble departmental equipment (e.g., mixers, mills, dryers, fillers, tanks) in accordance with applicable cGMPs and SOPs
  • Rotate to other Manufacturing or Packaging departments as determined by the needs of the business
  • Uses computer to read, review and train on SOPs
  • Builds productive, trusting, respectful relationships at all levels in the organization and must consistently act as a team player
  • Works independently with minimal supervision or in a group setting
  • Follows Piramal Pharma Solutions Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures
  • Performs other duties as assigned or as business needs require
