About The Position

Jabil is hiring an Operator II to support direct fulfillment manufacturing of medical devices. The role helps prepare, assemble, test, and package products to meet quality, regulatory, customer, and shipment requirements. The operator works efficiently to maximize output and collaborates with teammates, group leaders, and engineering to support production and product development. The work is performed in an ISO-regulated manufacturing environment and requires following detailed procedures, safety rules, and company security policies.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Six months of related experience and/or training.
Ability to obtain and maintain all required job-related certifications.

Responsibilities

Support the processing and preparation of medical devices throughout manufacturing.
Manually assemble systems using torque drivers and hardware to a predetermined volume.
Functionally test completed systems according to work processes.
Pull necessary materials from flow racks and bin locations.
Perform back-flush operations using computer operating systems.
Conduct physical inventory in the designated area.
Package products for shipment to customers.
Perform quality checks to verify products meet regulatory and customer requirements.
Complete routine equipment and work-area maintenance activities.
Maintain 5S order and cleanliness.
Review assembly documentation, including assembly prints, routing notes, and bills of materials.
Assemble the first run of new products and modify or correct assembly documentation.
Work with Engineering toward production build release.
Identify required tools and develop training methods.
Work with Group Leaders to ensure documentation is current and correct.
Create and track ECRs for process improvements or corrections.
Follow safety and health rules, use required protective equipment, and comply with company security procedures.
