Operator II, Mfg (Pre-Fill Syringe Line): 12hr days, 2-2-3 rotation
About The Position
As an Operator II on the pre-fill syringe line at Thermo Fisher Scientific, you will be part of a team dedicated to making a positive impact globally. The company's mission is to enable customers to make the world healthier, cleaner, and safer, by developing solutions for challenges like environmental protection, food safety, and cancer research. In this role, located in Greenville NC, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the quality and efficiency of the syringe manufacturing process, directly contributing to patient safety and healthcare advancement. The shift hours are 7am-7pm on a 2-2-3 rotating schedule.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum of 1 year of work experience in a manufacturing, operations, production, lab setting or related field
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques and sterile manufacturing processes
- Basic understanding of pre- fill syringe production and associated quality control measures
- Ability to follow detailed standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain accurate records
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean, organized work environment
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a cGMP environment, specifically in pharmaceutical or medical device manufacturing
Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor pre- fill syringe manufacturing equipment, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on syringe filling and packaging machinery
- Follow strict aseptic techniques and cGMP guidelines to maintain a sterile manufacturing environment
- Conduct in-process quality checks and maintain accurate documentation of production activities
