About The Position

Operate various process equipment in a safe & efficient manner to produce liquid smoke to meet customer commitments, company objectives and quality standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred but not required
• Ability kneel, bend, squat, stoop, carry, reach, stand, grip, push, pull, arm extensions and perform elevated work.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Abilility to work overtime and use a flexible schedule.
• PFT & respirator fit test required
• Working at heights / climbing ladders
• Working in confined spaces

Responsibilities

• Follow all safety policies and procedures.
• Receive raw materials
• Operate sawdust dryer, evaporator & furnaces.
• Maintain all process equipment.
• Perform necessary tests to maintain optimum production & quality.
• Record operational data
• Transfer products from tank farm as required.
• Perform scheduled sanitation duties.
• Maintain neat, clean, and organized work areas.
• Comply with all corporate safety and environmental regulations and procedures.
• Complies with all HACCP Food Safety procedures, GMP’S, and other guidelines.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
