About The Position
Under minimal direction, independently operates production equipment in various areas of manufacturing. Able to fill in for other positions in the plant.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Computer efficiency required.
- Candidates must have demonstrated experience with and knowledge of safety.
- Candidates must possess sound verbal and written communication skills.
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a production/manufacturing environment is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Review batch tickets; read, understand, and follow.
- Provide samples to lab.
- Pack product into designated containers.
- Report near miss incidents and improvement opportunities.
- Equipment cleaning, tub washing, plant cleaning and waste disposal.
- Forklift operation.
- Labeling containers.
- SAP inventory look-up.
- Gather and weigh ingredients. (Scale operation)
- Operate dust collector equipment.
- Participate on plant teams.
- Stock rotation / Minimization of partial containers.
- Ingredient traceability.
- Operate and trouble shoot mixing equipment.
- Combine ingredients in designated sequence.
- Training others.
- SAP CORK duties.
- Preliminary quality checks.
- Wear appropriate PPE at all times.
- Maintain a clean work area and work safely.
- Participate actively in all plant safety initiatives, programs, and training sessions.
- Follow all standard operating procedures with respect to performance of position duties.
- Stay updated on all applicable procedures.
