About The Position

Piramal Pharma Solutions is a contract development and manufacturing organization (CDMO), offering end-to-end development and manufacturing solutions across the drug life cycle. We serve our clients through a globally integrated network of facilities in North America, Europe and Asia. This enables us to offer a comprehensive range of services including Drug Discovery Solutions, Process & Pharmaceutical Development services, Clinical Trial Supplies, Commercial supply of APIs and Finished dosage forms. We also offer specialized services like development and manufacture of Highly Potent APIs and Antibody Drug Conjugation. Our capability as an integrated service provider & experience with various technologies enables us to serve Innovator and Generic companies worldwide. The Operator Granulation would operate, clean, disassemble, and reassemble granulation equipment such as low and high shear mixers, mills, and fluid bed dryers in accordance with applicable cGMPs and SOPs. In this role, the incumbent would rotate to other Manufacturing or Packaging departments as determined by the needs of the business.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required. Individuals with equivalent education, training, and experience will be considered.
  • Experience in a pharmaceutical, chemical, biochemical, or food manufacturing environment preferred, but not required.
  • Lift up to 40 lbs and occasionally move drums weighing up to 300 lbs.
  • Able to work safely with heavy equipment.
  • Regularly stand, walk, sit, use hands to feel objects, use tools, controls, reach with hand and arms, talk, hear, and good vision.
  • Individual will be required to wear Personal Protection Equipment.
  • Not allergic to chemicals or biosubstances found in laboratory or production facilities.

Responsibilities

  • Proficiently operate, disassemble, assemble and clean equipment.
  • Complete the Skills Inventory in other department.
  • Operate, disassemble, assemble and clean equipment in other department with assistance.
  • Uses computer to read, review and train on SOPs.
  • Builds productive, trusting, respectful relationships at all levels in the organization and must consistently act as a team player.
  • Works independently with minimal supervision or in a group setting.
  • Follows Piramal Pharma Solutions Safety, Health, and Environmental policies and procedures.
  • Performs other duties as assigned or as business needs require.
