About The Position

This opening is in the Distribution Warehouse, which is responsible for order processing functions such as picking, packing, and shipping pharmaceutical orders to sales reps, wholesalers, and retailers. Distribution Technicians typically rotate through a variety of roles related to performing these functions. Requirements

  • High school Diploma/GED
  • Minimum of 1 year of warehouse experience.
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
  • Demonstrated accuracy and attention to details.
  • Must be flexible and willing to be cross trained to perform multiple assignments.
  • Must be willing to work overtime with little notice.
  • Must be reliable and have a good work attendance history.
  • Demonstrated computer skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Demonstrated a high productivity rate in previous assignments.
  • Must be able to complete basic math, such as adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing.
  • Ability to count large numbers of items and have an accurate count.
  • Self-starter requiring minimal supervision.
  • Experience operating pallet jacks and powered industrial trucks is a must.
  • No known allergies to antibiotics.
  • Must be willing to work a portion of the workday in a chilled environment (36-46F).
  • Standing, lifting (up to 40 lbs) and bending are required.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with an electronic warehouse management system (e.g., SAP, Exacta, Worldlink) and RF scanners.
  • Material Handling experience.
  • Experience with IATA.

Responsibilities

  • Pick and pack customer orders using a handheld RF device and scanning product license plates.
  • Validate and follow packing requirements precisely.
  • Perform weight checks to verify order accuracy after picking and packing.
  • Consolidate orders by license plate for shipping.
  • Print and include packing lists and ship labels with shipments.
  • Comply with FDA and OSHA requirements.
  • Ensure all training identified in the individual training plan (ITP) is current and complete.
  • Continuously seek improvements in productivity, compliance, and data accuracy.
  • Work a portion of the workday in a chilled environment (36-46F).
  • Perform standing, lifting (up to 40 lbs), and bending.
