Operator Education Lead

Neko Health•New York, NY

About The Position

Neko Health is redefining prevention by making data-driven preventative care accessible before symptoms appear. In a single, non-invasive visit under an hour, its proprietary technology and direct clinical care provide personalised, actionable insights. Every clinical decision at Neko Health starts with a scan, and scan quality depends on the operator. The Global Operator Education Lead will establish standards for how operators learn, are assessed and signed off, and become ready to work unsupervised across every market. The role owns a globally consistent operator curriculum, defines observable competency standards, and holds accuracy sign-off for operator-facing learning materials. It also leads market educators and determines when operators are ready to scan members independently. The scope includes device and SOP training; clinical skills such as Doppler, ECG and phlebotomy; laboratory and echocardiography education; clinic operator lead education; and AI as both a tool and a subject. Local adaptation is limited to cases where regulation requires it.

Requirements

  • Be a registered healthcare professional with current registration and at least 5 years of post-registration experience in a fast-paced, high-volume clinical setting.
  • Have at least 3 years of experience designing and delivering clinical or technical education end to end, including ownership of the curriculum, competency framework and outcome data.
  • Have at least 3 years of experience building competency-based assessments in which readiness is judged against criteria rather than attendance.
  • Have at least 3 years of experience leading or coaching clinical educators or trainers and maintaining consistent standards across more than one site.
  • Have at least 3 years of experience building training for devices, procedures or technical skills where technique affects output quality.
  • Have at least 3 years of experience using outcome data to improve a program.
  • Have at least 1 year of experience using AI tools in their own work and a considered view on where human review is required.
  • Bring a warm, direct and curious working style; build trust across cultures, surface problems early, and maintain high standards while staying close to the people doing the work.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in health technology, digital health or a medical device environment where the product changes quickly.
  • Experience building education across more than one country or scaling a training model into a new market.
  • Instructor status in a relevant clinical skill, such as basic life support, phlebotomy or ultrasound.
  • Familiarity with learning management systems and modern authoring tools, including simulation.

Responsibilities

  • Design and own the global operator curriculum, from onboarding through expert practice, allowing local adaptation only where regulation requires it.
  • Define the operator competency framework, assessment design and sign-off standard so readiness is judged against criteria rather than time or attendance.
  • Ensure every new or updated device, SOP and workflow reaches every operator before go-live, and verify understanding.
  • Approve the accuracy of every operator-facing asset before publication.
  • Line manage market educators and the launch trainer, maintaining one standard across different markets.
  • Prepare clinic operator leads to conduct competency conversations and improvement plans, working with the Global Clinician Education Lead.
  • Use scan quality data, audit findings and assessment results to determine future curriculum needs.
  • Teach operators to question AI output and develop AI-supported simulation and assessment.
