About The Position

This role involves the satisfactory completion of Solids Control rig ups, rig downs, troubleshooting, and minor repairs. The operator will perform Solids Control Analysis of equipment, as well as electrical rig ups, rig downs, and minor repairs. A satisfactory knowledge of Solids Control and Vacuum Unit jobs is required. The position also requires the ability to follow proper sampling procedures, complete daily reports, and communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and co-workers. The operator must maintain satisfactory rig etiquette and a professional attitude, and demonstrate a willingness to train other employees and complete general labor tasks as needed. The ability to travel outside the hiring region may be necessary, and a satisfactory driving record must be maintained.

Requirements

Experience in solids control field or similar mechanical experience, to be able to identify potential mechanical problems.
Possess a satisfactory driving record
Must be able to pass background check, pre-placement physical, pulmonary function/FIT test and substance abuse testing.
Must be able to operate or, be trained to operate heavy equipment such as track hoe/back hoe in a safe manner.
Must be able to operate or, be trained to operate existing solids control line of equipment and or any new solids control technology introduced to the market.

Attain necessary NOV WSS Core Training and maintain annual refresher training.
