About The Position

The Operator C position involves hands-on work with Solids Control equipment, including rigging up, rigging down, troubleshooting, and performing minor repairs. The role also requires conducting Solids Control Analysis and performing electrical rig ups, rig downs, and minor electrical repairs. Key responsibilities include possessing knowledge of Solids Control and Vacuum Unit operations, adhering to proper sampling procedures, completing daily reports, and maintaining effective communication with customers, supervisors, and co-workers. The Operator C is expected to uphold professional rig etiquette, train other employees, and be available for travel outside the hiring region if necessary. Additionally, the role entails maintaining a satisfactory driving record and completing general labor tasks as assigned by a supervisor. The position requires obtaining and maintaining specific NOV WSS Core Training and annual refresher training.

Requirements

  • Experience in solids control field or similar mechanical experience, to be able to identify potential mechanical problems.
  • Possess a satisfactory driving record
  • Must be able to pass background check, pre-placement physical, pulmonary function/FIT test and substance abuse testing.
  • Must be able to operate or, be trained to operate heavy equipment such as track hoe/back hoe in a safe manner.
  • Must be able to operate or, be trained to operate existing solids control line of equipment and or any new solids control technology introduced to the market.

Responsibilities

  • Ability to satisfactorily complete Solids Control rig ups, rig downs, troubleshooting, and minor repair.
  • Ability to satisfactorily perform Solids Control Analysis of equipment.
  • Ability to satisfactorily perform electrical rig ups, rig downs and minor repairs.
  • Possess satisfactory knowledge of Solids Control and Vacuum Unit jobs.
  • Ability to follow proper sampling procedure.
  • Attain necessary NOV WSS Core Training and maintain annual refresher training.
  • Ability to satisfactorily complete daily reports.
  • Ability to communicate with customers, supervisors and co-workers.
  • Possess satisfactory rig etiquette and maintain a professional attitude.
  • Ability to successfully train other employees.
  • Ability to travel outside hiring region, if needed.
  • Maintain a satisfactory driving record.
  • Demonstrate a willingness to complete general labor tasks as deemed necessary by supervisor
