About The Position

This position works in a manufacturing environment in all weather conditions and requires the ability to function successfully in a fast-paced, changing work environment. The role involves working in a team environment, following instructions, and performing tasks such as bending, twisting, climbing, squatting, and kneeling throughout the shift. Employees must be able to work in extreme heat or cold conditions, follow lockout/tagout requirements, and report hazards, incidents, and near misses immediately. Emergency response procedures must also be followed.

Requirements

6 months to one year of experience in a fast-paced environment
Accurately uses and understands measuring tape
Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions
Effectively communicate information and respond to questions from various levels within the organization
Verify loads are processed according to specifications.
Report abnormalities affecting product quality.
Prevent product damage through proper handling.
Lift up to 50 pounds occasionally.
Work around chemical processing operations.
Maintain the production pace of other team members
Utilize power tools and various equipment as needed to perform duties
Able to work weekends and overtime
Be willing to work in a manufacturing environment

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Previous overhead crane experience preferred.
Manufacturing or anodizing experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Safely operate overhead cranes and associated controls.
Transfer aluminum loads throughout the anodizing process.
Position racks accurately within process tanks.
Ensure smooth and controlled movement of suspended loads.
Tilt racks as required for drainage between processing stages.
Follow production travelers, work orders, and customer specifications.
Maintain proper processing sequences and immersion times.
Coordinate with production personnel and supervisors.
Never allow personnel beneath suspended loads.
Performs other related duties as assigned or requested by supervisor or manager.
Follow lockout/tagout requirements.
Report hazards, incidents, and near misses immediately.
Follow emergency response procedures.
